Susmita breaths Tagore’s lyrics; and through this lyrical fountain of the maestro she unfolds a thousand  multichromatic impressions, reflecting life and universe. 

 

 Her training  in Rabindrasangeet was started initially under the guidance of Smt. Suchitra Mitra in 'Rabitirtha'.  After  that period she started her learning under Smt. Srabani Sen.   

 

 She has sung solo and duet songs in several bengali serials ( Chokher Tara Tui, Isti Kutum ) and also performed in  some live TV and Radio shows - Aaj Sokaler Amontrone, Tara Club ( Tara Music ), Aji E Prabhate, Ek Cup Chaye Tomake Chai( Ruposhi Bangla ),  Sokaler Adda ( U Bangla ), Good Morning Akash ( Akash Aat ) , Pratidiner Rabindranath ( CTVN AKD PLUS ) and Amaar  Rabindranath ( FRIENDS F.M. ).

 

 She is one of the Rabindra Sangeet Artists selected by Information and Culture Department, Govt of W.B for  performing at Rabindra Sadan and ALL INDIA RADIO.

 

She has performed in solo musical evening on Tagore songs organised by Bangladesh National Museum and Rabindra Academy, April 30, 2016.
